After the Karstadt department store group was taken over by real estate investor René Benko, the company relies on experienced counsel, some of whom have many years of experience. Seitz had already advised the Karstadt Warenhaus division during collective agreement negotiations under the former owner, Nicolas Berggruen. It has now been able to position itself with new owner Benko and has also taken over representation in the collective agreement negotiations for the sports and premium department stores. Th law firm recently advised the Esprit fashion company in the negotiations regarding the company's collective bargaining agreement and the Praktiker DIY chain during its reorganisation process.
