Sony has restructured in Stuttgart and Brussels: During the course of an international reorganisation of the Service Quality Environment area of the Sony Electronics division, central functional areas that had previously been based at Sony's Stuttgart operation will be bundled at the Brussels operation in future.
The Product Compliance, Environmental & Occupational Health departments in Stuttgart are being closed. These areas of activity will be continued at the Sony Electronics headquarters in Brussels. Around 100 jobs will be affected by the reorganisation. Seitz advises Sony on the implementation of the measures with regard to labour law, in particular during the negotiation of the balancing of interests and the social plan at the Stuttgart location.
