With legal assistance from Seitz, Bayer MaterialScience AG acquired Thermoplast Composite GmbH, a composites specialist from Langenfeld near Nuremberg. Through the successful purchase of the company, Bayer MaterialScience AG has further expanded its leading position on the future market of composites.
Since Autumn 2014, Seitzprovided legal assistance in the transaction in close cooperation with the Bayer in-house team and, at the beginning of March 2015, led to its successful conclusion.
As part of the Bayer panel for M&A formed two years ago, Seitz is one of the Bayer Group's preferred law firms for small and medium-sized company transactions in the field of EMEA and has already successfully advised the Bayer Group many times on company transactions in recent years.
