Toni Kroos is transferring from FC Bayern Munich to Real Madrid for the coming season. According to media reports, the release fee is some EUR 30 million. Kroos is under contract to the Cologne sports agency, SportsTotal, which among others also advises German national players Marco Reus and Mario Götze.
After his youth, Kroos began his career with Bayern in 2007/2008 with the second team and quickly succeeded in moving to the first team. In the 2009/2010 season, he was on loan to Bayern Leverkusen. Transferring Kroos had been the subject of speculation for quite some time. The 24-year-old was first called to the A squad of the German national football team in 2010, which had recently become World Champion.
