TIER Mobility reports that it has over 60,000 e-scooters in 80 cities and aims to significantly reduce car traffic in the cities with its e-scooters. Regarding to TIER Mobility he focus of this series C financing round will be to significantly extend the company’s leading coverage in Europe, to accelerate its expansion into strategic growth markets and to fast track the TIER energy network throughout Europe and thus thousands of charging stations to power electric vehicles in the most efficient and sustainable way.
 
In the series C financing round, AXA expanded its investment as a partner of TIER Mobility, where AXA already provides substantial insurance cover for the European TIER vehicle fleet. AXA's first investment in 2019 was in the AXA Innovation Campus, which was launched in 2014 with a network of successful founders, managers and investors to develop creative ideas in insurance-related fields.
