Hannah Krings advises international and national companies on collective labour law matters. Her long-standing practice focuses on restructuring, collective bargaining and works constitution law as well as transactional labour law with a focus on distressed M&A, in particular the drafting and implementation of acquisition concepts. In the area of restructuring, Hannah focuses on comprehensive insolvency labour law advice to companies in self-administration as well as to insolvency administrators of medium and large insolvency proceedings.
Hannah Krings is the author of numerous specialist publications focusing on employment law issues in insolvency, co-author of the “Handbuch Insolvenzplan” (Insolvency Plan Handbook) published by RWS Verlag and the “Kommentar zum Unternehmensstabilisierungs- und Restrukturierungsgesetz” (Commentary on the Corporate Stabilisation and Restructuring Act) to be published by C.H. Beck Verlag in 2022; she is also a regular lecturer on insolvency and employment law topics.
She studied at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster, where she also received her doctorate with the dissertation "Der Betriebsübergang nach § 613a BGB im kirchlichen Arbeitsrecht" (Transfer of undertakings under sec. 613a BGB (German Civil Code) in church labour law).
Hannah Krings has several years of professional experience in labour and insolvency law as a lawyer in large restructuring units and as an in-house lawyer in the legal department of an international group. Since 2015 she has been a certified labour law specialist.
