Dr. Johannes Traut

Johannes Traut advises international and domestic clients on labour law matters. The focus of his works includes restructuring, collective bargaining law and industrial constitution law, corporate co-determination as well as handling the employment and labour law aspects of M&A transactions.

Data protection and legal challenges of the digitisation are further focus points of his work.

Johannes Traut regularly publishes and lectures on matters of labour and data protection law.

He studied at the University Bonn and was a research assistant there at the Institute for Labour Law and Social Security Law. In 2013, he was awarded a doctorate for his dissertation on corporate governance of public sector corporations. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as an attorney in the employment law team of a large international law firm.
