Dr. Maximilian Schmidt

Maximilian Schmidt advises international and domestic companies primarily on individual and collective employment and labour law. He has specialised experience in collective bargaining and works constitution law, company co-determination, data protection law and employment law in professional sports. 

Maximilian Schmidt regularly publishes on employment and data protection law. In addition to numerous publications in legal journals, he also comments in the Heidelberg Commentary on the GDPR. 

He studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn where he holds an LL.D. (Dr. iur. / PhD). In his PhD thesis he dealt with the topic of “Data Protection for Employees”.
